Stigma Index Survey

An adult survey was developed (in collaboration with a broad range of organisations and institutions) to identify how people living with HIV in the UK experience HIV-related stigma and discrimination in their daily lives.

The first part of the project was to construct a website that would create awareness, and in doing so encourage participation in the survey. A focus was placed on mobile and tablet devices as there was a drive to take the survey in health centre/GP waiting rooms.

The second part of the project was to take the findings and design the national report and ten other booklets, defined by region and population. These accessible, easy to use report cards then became the focus when the website was updated to display the results.
